  1. Breaking Quarantine by Tsumomu Nihel
This story has more action with srg Avery Johnson against the flood. This story has so much detail even though there are no words that it would blow your head away this is a great science fiction
The only low is there are no words but the explosions and bullets flying everywhere make up for it. This story is a gripping action raising story. You just cant put it down because you feel like your there dodging bullets throwing grenades killing flood and holding the holy grail pistol from halo c e! This story shows the true side of the intergalactic battles between the covenant and the newly found flood. When a marine is infected by a flood parasite the Transformation is the most gruesome part the blood veins popping out it just looks disgusting yet cool???? I don’t know why that is but to me it is cool but when the srg runs out of ammo in his assault rifle he switches to the powerful side arm the pistol and blows a hole right through the oncoming flood with shot gun this story takes place in the tunnels of halo. If you like the hair raising videogame you’ll like this story in the halo graphic novel.

  2. Enders Game by Orson Scott Card

    Game of a Lifetime

In Enders Game a science fiction novel the world is fighting a war against aliens called buggers. Ender is supposed to be the one kid that can be the best commander ever and save the world from the buggers. To prove he is a great commander he goes to a school where he learns history of recent bugger wars and learns how to fight. After going to that school he goes to anther school made for actual commanders. When he gets there he is told his training is a game. It turns out that it was real life when everybody watching him starts crying because Ender just won the final bugger war. After the war he moves to a planet and starts a religion called speaker for the dead.
I would diffidently suggest this book to my best friend. It was truly a page turner because it was suspenseful through out the book. People with a good imagination would enjoy this book. I enjoy this genre because it gets me away from the real world. Card really gets your attention in beginning of the book and keeps it all the way to the last word.

  3. The Host by Stephanie Meyer
    Unstoppable

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have something or someone controlling your body? Melanie does. In this science-fiction fantasy the world has been taken over by hosts, objects that are placed into a human that controls the human. Melanie is in hiding with a bunch of other humans to make sure that they do not get a host put into them. But when Melanie goes out to try and get some supplies, like food and other essential needs, she is captured. She gets a host named Wanderer or Wanda for short. But Melanie, who is determined to get back to her little brother, Jamie, refuses to fade away. Melanie then takes Wanda on an adventure to find Jamie.
I really recommend this book to those who like to read science-fiction, fantasy type books. To me this book is defiantly a page-turner. When I read the book I could not set it down. The Host is a story that takes place in the future when the world is almost rid of all humans. But Melanie, a human in hiding, goes on an adventure that leads to a whole other adventure. To me Melanie is unstoppable because she will do anything to get back to Jamie and nothing stopped her not even her host.

  4. The Angel of Death by Alane Ferguson
    Deadly Teachings
Can you imagine your favorite teacher dying? Can you imagine having to cut him open to find out how he died? In this science fiction book, this is Cameryn Mahoney’s situation. Cameryn is the assistant to the county coroner, her father. As something involved in her job, she has to visit the scene of her teacher’s suspicious death. Then she must assist her father in determining his cause of death. In order to do this she has to use evidence found at the scene of death and an autopsy of the body. In the middle of all this mess, Cammie has to deal with school, love life, and dealing with her mother, who left when she was three years old.
I think The Angel of Death is an amazing book! When I read this book, my eyes were constantly glued to the pages. I always wanted to find out what happened next. There are also many surprising things in this book. One of them is when you find out that Cameryn’s teacher’s eyes were blown out of their sockets. I think anybody who enjoys body science, mystery, and suspense would like The Angel of Death. This book has all these things and much more in it, and I think it is great!
If you like this book, the next two in the series are The Circle of Blood and The Christopher Killer.

  5. Cryptid Hunters by Roland Smith
    Trapped in the Jungle

Do you like action packed book? If so Cryptid Hunters is a great book for you. It’s about two kids named Marty and Grace who go to live with their Uncle Wolfe. In this science-fiction book their Uncle searches for cryptids like the yeti, giant squids, and big foot. When their uncle is taking them back to their boarding school the kids fall out the cargo drop and land in the Congo, the adventures begin.
This book is a real page-turner. It’s a page-turner, because like in one of the chapters the kids falling from their uncle’s jet. This book is also filled with adventure, even before the kids fall into the Congo. I was surprised at almost every chapter I read. I thought the style of writing was the best, I mean after one chapter I told myself to stop reading, but I couldn’t set the book down; it was too good. In a few of the chapters I thought I was really in the Congo, but I was glad I wasn’t in the Congo during most of the story. The author, Roland Smith, will have you reading one chapter after another.

  6. Rewind by William Sleator

I thought the book Rewind was a pretty good story. I think I would like Peter as a friend because he likes art and so do I. My favorite part of the book was when Peter got hit by the pickup truck and died for the third time. It was my favorite part because I thought it was funny that Peter was dumb enough to run outside close to the street three times in a row and get killed each time trying to fix his life.

  7. Slawter by Darren Shan
I thought the book Slawter was good but was a gory and bloody story. I would like Grubbs as my friend because he is always nice to his friends and he has powers too. My favorite part is when Grubbs takes on Lord Loss because it was very, very exciting. The ending of this book was very sad.
