The Fire Game by R. L. Stine
Fire, Good or Bad
Do you think fire is good or bad? In The Fire Game a new boy, Gabe, moves to Shadyside and convinces to start fires. It is all fun and games until someone gets hurt. There are fires being set and no one knows who is setting them. Now Gabe and his friends have to figure out who is starting the fires.
I recommend this book to people who like thrillers. This book is a real page turner. Every time you think you’ll get a break, something else pops up. Almost every chapter ends with a cliff-hanger. It could end with someone being chased or someone coming. One chapter could end dramatically and the next makes you think. If you are someone who likes thrillers or exciting books you should read this one.
Undead
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to undead? If you have, try to stay under water for five to ten seconds. In this mystery book, thirteen year old Ali goes to a lake in Maine with her Aunt Dulcie and four year old cousin, Emma. On a foggy day Ali and Emma are walking along the shore when Emma meets Sissy, a mean, ten year old girl. Sissy has lived in Websters Cove her entire life.
In this page turner Sissy is determend to get a proper burial instead of spending forever at the bottom of the lake. The right words have to be said. Someone has to be crying. Flowers must be thrown. Will Sissy get her wish? Will Ali let her down? Read the book to find out.
The book I read was Found by Margret Peterson Haddix. I liked this book because it is a great mystery, and it is very suspenseful. The characters are Jonah, Chip, who are adopted, and Jonah’s sister Katherine. In the story, Jonah has always known he was adopted, but Chip didn’t. First, they receive these mysterious letters with no return address. Then people start disappearing and reappearing out of nowhere. This story also has a plane disappearing and reappearing out of nowhere and time travel. I recommend this book for anyone who likes a good mystery. This is book one of her new series.
I like Nancy Drew. I enjoy reading anyone of them, but Nancy Drew Death by Design is pretty good. It’s about Nancy and her friend Bess , going to Chicago to find out who is giving this top teen designer, Kim, these mysterious phone calls. There is a person who is trying to poisoning Kim on the lose. This person is trying to kill Kim, but instead gets Kim’s dog and Nancy! Now Nancy has to find the criminal before Nancy Drew’s time run’s out! Nancy Drew, the famous girl detective, written by Carolyn Keene is a book I recommend for anyone who like’s mysteries and Nancy Drew.
The Creek is a very shocking and suspenseful book. My favorite character is Caleb Delvin because, he is a very creepy and scary person filled with secrets. My favorite part was when the main character, Penny, was hiding in a creepy storm drain. Also, when someone was killed. I really like this book because it is filled with many shocking, suspenseful , scary moments that will give you shivers down your spine. I recommend this book to any mystery book fan.
The Fire Game by R.L. Stine is a scary and mystery book of the series Fear Street. This new kid at Shadyside is named Gabe. Ever since he got to Shadyside, fires have happened, some by accident and some on purpose. Will the murder be stopped? Read this book to find out and read the other books in the series, too.
I read Absolute Pressure by Sigmund Brouwer. It’s a fantastic mystery with a lot of twists.Throughout this book some poeple aren’t really who they say they are.
Ian has Synesthesia, t’s when two of your senses are linked-for example whenever Ian sees, Sherri, he tastes blackberries.
The book Pemba’s Song: A Ghost Story is a good book. It’s not my favorite but it’s great if you are looking for something quick. I felt strongly for Pemba when she had to move aqway from all her friends. It wasn’t a short move; it was hundreds of miles away. I would not recomend this if you are looking for something scary but maybe something quick and easy.
Halloween Party by R.L. Stine.
Halloween Party was a good book. I would want Terry as a friend because. He is nice and is a loyal friend. There are many suprises at the party. I liked it because it scared everybody and there were cool tricks. Not all of the characters were good. You should reed this bok if you like mysteries.
I just finished reading The Creek by Jennifer L. Holm. I’d recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a mystery. From the book, I would say Penny would be a good friend because of how caring she is. My favorite part was the ending because everything that occured, I never saw coming. It was all very surprising. I can’t say that I have read any other books that are similar to this one. However, this book makes you want to keep reading. You won’t want to put it down. It’s fairly short and has a lot of action. If you like books that will send a chill down your spine, this one’s for you.
I read the book The Fire Within. It’s about a college student who despratly needs somewhere to stay. He ends up coming across a house. It seems normal enough, but when he saw the ad, he was surprised to see”…must like dragons ” on it. Since he had no other choice, he took it, but little does he know what this house have in store for him. From strange sounds to saving squirels. If you want to know more, check out Chris D’lacey’s The Fire Within.
