The book I like is called Cut by Patricia McCormick.It is truly the best book I have ever read before in my life. Cut is about a girl who cuts herself because she doesn’t have the best home life. So theCallie gets sent to a place she calls the looney bin, so she can get better and there’s other teenagers there, too, with other problems. But she is the only girl who won’t cooperate with the counselors so it isn’t helping her. But then she . . .I won’t ruin it for you.If you read this book you will not regret it at all. So hurry up and go get the book, so you can see if she gets better or if she’ll have to stay in the looney bin forever!
The book that I like alot is called “What My Mother Doesn’t Know.” I think that Rachel would be a good friend because she always had good advice for Sophie and was always there for her. She would always stay positive and she seemed like she would be a really good friend. I’ve read a few books that were similar to “What My Mother Doesn’t Know”, they are called Ttfn, Ttyl, and some others. They’re alike because in all of them, the kids do alot of stuff behind their parent’s backs.
My favorite part of the book was when they had a dance and Sophie went behind her moms back and bought a dress her didn’t want her to buy. She forgot to change back into the dress she was supposed to wear when her mom picked her up. I liked it because there was alot of suspense of what her mom would say. Their were not any characters i disliked because they were all nice and easy to understand.
The book Heartbeat was kind of weird. the book is written in poems, i like these types of bookes a lot. The main character Annie is athletic,and she was a very kind girl. Annie has a surprise in kind of the middle of the book so be looking forward to that. The book was very short and easy to read. Annie and her bestfriend Max ran everyday of the year even in the winter. I liked this book a lot ; it is a book I would recommend.
From this book I would like Shawn as a friend. Shawn would be a good friend because he is trusting and smart. My favorite part was when he figured out that his dad was going to kill him. It was interesting because from all the previous thing his dad said, Shawn put together and figured it out. One of the main characterers that i dislike is Shawn’s father. I don’t like him because of all the things he does to Shawn. This book is a very interesting, an easy read, and funny all at the same time, and i have never read a book as good as this one.
