  1. A Rose for Melinda by Lurlene McDaniel

    I HATE READING! But wait…
A Rose for Melinda is a realistic fiction book in the form of letters and journal entries. “I walked into my garage and to my surprise my parents transformed it into a ballet studio! Just so I could get better at dancing again.” Now do you know any parents who would transform their whole garage into a dance studio? This is a great book for people who like love stories that are really shocking
I recommend this book to anyone who hate reading, because so did I until I started reading A Rose for Melinda. This book is also good for anyone who likes reading. It is definitely a page turner, because just when you think the book couldn’t get any better, then BAM! You are so shocked at what happens you just can’t wait to get to the end of the book to see how everything turns out. This is the best book I think I have ever read (next to Dr. sues when I was little). A Rose for Melinda made me cry more than once and I almost never cry from a book. You will be amazed at how hard it is to hold back the tears at the end and even at the beginning. These are only some of the reasons A Rose for Melinda is such a great book. So I hope you take the time to read it because you won’t be sorry.

  2. Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney is about a boy named Greg, who has a journal that he writes in, and he writes bad and good things. His brother is like my brother: mean and bad. His best friend is like my best friend, who is awesome . I can’t wait for the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw. It sounds really good; the first one is good and the second one is better, so this one should be better than the rest of them .

  3. I like the book The Invention of Hugo Cabret, by Brian Selznick, because he loved doing stuff with clocks. It was really cool when he fixes them. When his dad died it was really sad .But other than that part, it was great. The book was better than any other book I have read before. I read even when I had free time. This is why I recommend this book.
